The preservation of our historic Main Building, with its paneled Ella Burling Hall, library, and dining room, the upkeep of our walled garden, and the maintenance of our residence quarters in ongoing and expensive. Providing technology services (high-speed internet, computer facilities and equipment) to our resident scholars and students is a necessary, and expensive, endeavor. While the Board of Directors has established a schedule of short-term upkeep and maintenance in our annual operating budget, long term tasks require additional funds. New furnishings are needed for the Main Building and Marpat Hall. Our mechanical, electrical, and security systems are in need of upgrade and, in some cases, replacement.
