Board of Directors

I-House DC is led and supported by a generous group of volunteer leaders who devote their time, treasure, and talent to fostering intercultural exchange, lifelong connections, and global citizenship. These individuals contribute to the mission of the House through their service in one of the following capacities:

  • The Board of Directors provides strategic leadership, governance, and oversight to ensure the House fulfills its mission. The Board’s key responsibilities include guiding the organization’s strategic direction, ensuring financial stability, supporting fundraising efforts, and overseeing the Executive Director.
  • Emeritus Members are distinguished Board Members recognized for their merit in serving on the Board of Directors.
  • Associate Committee Members are former Directors appointed by the Board of Directors who wish to remain active in their service of I-House DC in a non-voting capacity. They are welcome and encouraged to participate in select Committees (by invitation), House programs, and annual events.
