is pleased to invite you to a discussion with
the Young Professionals in Foreign Policy about
The Global Importance of Brazil’s Internet Constitution
As the world becomes increasingly dependent on the internet, debates about online freedom of expression, government surveillance, privacy, and net neutrality are increasingly important, but far from being resolved. Please join Young Professionals in Foreign Policy for a discussion with Pedro Abramovay Regional Director for Latin America and the Caribbean at the Open Society Foundations. Mr. Abramovay will discuss Brazil’s new Internet Constitution, which seeks to safeguard online freedom of expression and limit government collection of data, and how this legislation relates to global debates around internet freedom.
