Board Member: Malcolm Benge

 Malcolm Benge is an aviation lawyer at the Washington, D.C. law firm of Zuckert, Scoutt and Rasenberger, LLP, where he has practiced for over 30 years.

Mr. Benge represents a wide range of clients including foreign and domestic airlines, aircraft leasing companies, financial institutions, foreign governments and Fortune 500 companies.  His legal practice extends to all areas of aviation and involves frequent participation in proceedings before the Department of Transportation and the Federal Aviation Administration.  His expertise extends to the area of international trade.  Mr. Benge received his J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Wesleyan University, where he graduated cum laude.

Mr. Benge has been a member of the ISH Board since 1997 and served as Board President from 2004 until 2007.  He is currently a member of the Finance Committee.

International Student House of Washington, DC (ISH-DC) is a private, non-profit 501(c)3 organization located near Dupont Circle in the heart of Washington, DC. Donations will help support our mission to provide an exceptional residential experience to a highly diverse international community of graduate students, interns and visiting scholars. The House promotes inter-cultural dialogue, encourages life-long connections, and fosters global citizenship.
