Board Member: Greg Coble

Greg Coble photoGreg Coble has served since late 2011 as Sr. Vice President of Finance and Administration of Hostelling International USA, a nonprofit organization that operates and licenses 50 hostels around the US, with a mission to help all, especially the young, gain a greater understanding of the world, and its people, through hostelling.  Prior to that, he served as Sr. Vice President of Business and Finance at the National Trust for Historic Preservation, where he worked for 30 years.   He currently serves on the board of Bonnet House Museum and Gardens, the 1920 historic whimsical estate of two artists and collectors in Fort Lauderdale, FL.   Greg previously served on the board of Historic Hotels of America and helped create National Trust Insurance Services.  He and his husband C.B. Babcock live in Arlington, VA.   Greg has an undergraduate degree in Journalism and a masters degree in Public Administration, both from West Virginia University.

International Student House of Washington, DC is a private, non-profit 501(c)3 organization located near Dupont Circle in the heart of Washington, DC. Donations will help support our mission to provide an exceptional residential experience to a highly diverse international community of graduate students, interns and visiting scholars. The House promotes inter-cultural dialogue, encourages life-long connections, and fosters global citizenship.
