Staff Member: Jennifer Simpson

Jennifer Simpson is one of the Resident Managers at ISH-DC, she has been working and living at the House since 2013. You will likely overhear Jen speaking to incoming residents, explaining that the House is a special place to live because of the amazing residents who choose to live in the community. She is honored to be part of the organization and enjoys supporting the mission of ISH-DC everyday by helping perspective, incoming and current residents adjust to life in DC. Prior to serving as a Resident Manager at ISH-DC she was a Resident Director at Temple University in Philadelphia, PA and Coastal Carolina University in Conway, SC for three years. Ms. Simpson completed her Master of Science in College Student Development and Counseling at Northeastern University in Boston, MA. While there, she served in a variety of roles: a Residence Life Graduate Assistant at Newbury College in Brookline, MA, and a Student Activities and Leadership Graduate Assistant at Northeastern University. Jennifer enjoys traveling, countries she has traveled to are: Haiti, Japan, Ireland, Eastern & Western Europe.

International Student House of Washington, DC (ISH-DC) is a private, non-profit 501(c)3 organization located near Dupont Circle in the heart of Washington, DC. Donations will help support our mission to provide an exceptional residential experience to a highly diverse international community of graduate students, interns and visiting scholars. The House promotes inter-cultural dialogue, encourages life-long connections, and fosters global citizenship.
